My girlfriend (and) is on state insurance, we live together and share a son. Im moving my son to my employers insurance, and i can move my girlfriend to it as well (met requirements).
If she gets on my insurance do I have to claim her on my taxes too? Can she file her own taxes and claim our son, or do I claim him going forward?
FYI, I get to claim my other two daughters so I’ve been letting her claim our son as she does not make as much.
