I’m 25 and was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea.
I got prescribed a CPAP machine to help me breath at night. I just got it yesterday. After putting it on, I can’t breath through it. Like at all. I feel completely suffocated when I put it on. I’ve spent over an hour trying to position it right and get it to work, but nothing will do the trick.
The company that sold it to me said if I don’t use it at least 4 hours a night insurance won’t pay for it.
What am I supposed to do? I’m freaking out that insurance is going to refuse to pay for it because I’m not using it. The company said to just wear it while I watch TV to get my daily 4 hours in, but I literally can’t do that since I can’t breath when it’s on. I’m freaking out about what I’m going to do because I think I’m about to be hit with a huge bill.
