I’ve had a very recent problem with Captivate 2019. I’m creating software video demonstrations, and when I preview them, random slides are partially skipped or skipped entirely, or the mouse movement is cut off. I’ve tried several illogical solutions (illogical solutions typically work for me in Captivate), such as slightly changing the slide timing, slightly changing the mouse timing, placing a blank slide between slides, then hiding it, placing an extra object on a slide, etc. Sometimes it helps, but most often it just moves the problem to a different slide. I’ve also tried clearing the project cache and cleaning out the library of unused items.
If this was just a playback issue, I would ignore it, but the published video (.mp4) also has random skipping. Is this a bug? Has anyone else encountered this? Solutions?
