I changed from a BCBS Michigan PPO without HSA to an HDHP with HSA, effective today, during employer’s open enrollment period.
BCBSM website still reflects the old plan, and I’m in need of proof of the new plan to open up my HSA (small employer, they aren’t super hands on with this stuff).
I would think the change would show effective already online, but perhaps it delayed? Perhaps our administrator didn’t actually apply the change we made in the BCBS portal?
Would this normally show live right at 12:01 on 1/1?
