This is probably a dumb question but I can’t find an answer anywhere.
My wife and I are about to have a baby. We have the deductible with our insurance (provided through my job). Very soon after we have the baby I’m going to put my two week notice in and start a new job.
When the hospital bill comes after I’m not covered with the “old” insurance anymore – the “old” insurance should still help cover everything (and use the deductible and what not) right? Because the actual hospital delivery will be during them time we are covered. Even though I would not be currently covered with the “old” insurance it should not matter because I was at the time of the delivery correct? I’d like to think that’s what going to happen but I’m honestly not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
