For charges for labor and delivery, since the out-of-pocket and deductible costs are reset for baby, is the cost split between mother and baby deductibles, or all charged to the mother?
E.g. let’s say the hospital charges 10k and the mother has a 5k OOP but then going to “family” insurance to add the newborn would increase the OOP to 8k. What does the mother pay?
