Greetings, all. I live in NJ. Not sure if that matters.
My fiancee just got another job that pays more and allows her to work from home. Problem is, that her job has a probationary period and does not give health insurance until you’ve been there for 3 months.
She just found out today that her Cobra would be over 900 dollars a month from her old employer.
Can she get health insurance via healthcare.gov? For only 3 months? I did a quick search w/ her salary range. It seems like there are a lot of plans way cheaper than 900 a month.
Not sure it’s easy to cancel once her company’s HI kicks in.
Thanks in advance!
