College Student Insurance

I posted last week about dropping our daughter from my husband’s company’s insurance because she has insurance through her university as a grad student. Well, we finally got her to send us a copy of her benefits and the insurance seems terrible. There are all sorts of exceptions. It almost seems like the policy is designed to exclude as many claims as possible. So despite the opportunity to save on our premiums we have decided to continue to cover her on my husband’s insurance. She will still have the university insurance so my question is how does that work? Does she submit claims under her insurance and if they are denied then submit them under ours? The coverages are different in terms of deductibles and coinsurances and copays. I am concerned that this is going to be a real headache. Any advice on handling this? TIA
