So I had heard some stuff about free healthcare. Some sources said it was through healthcare.gov and some said it was for people with unemployment. Could someone give me more info about that?
Also, I was on Healthcare.gov and have the option for a very good size monthly tax credit. This makes many of the plans affordable and even free for me. I’m very hesitant to use this to purchase a plan. I read about it on their site but I still don’t understand.
Could someone please explain this tax credit to me? Is it just allowing me to “borrow” money and I will have to pay it all back at tax time? Or is this something that is actually mine to use that I won’t have to pay back? I don’t remember seeing this the first time I applied on here, but maybe I just didn’t notice it.
