I was suggested to sign up for First Health ‘wellness’ plan today by an agent that I use. She on the phone guiding me through the online enrollment form. When I got to the end of the form there was a box to check saying that i had to be ok with downloading a third party app that collected an stored my browsing data before moving forward with enrolling in my new plan. I know a lot of places collect data but I just thought the wording seemed slightly off so I clicked through the link for more info. It took me to a a site called Our Data Market. You can sign up to sell your data and make money.
Idk why but it just seemed weird that a health insurance plan had this stipulation? Is this normal?
My agent lady said she’d call the insurance co and ask them about it so I’m waiting for her to call back and would really appreciate more input.
