Dealing with some ongoing health problems—get a lower premium plan but higher deductible or higher premium with a lower deductible? Please help!

I need to get an endoscopy and colonoscopy done by my gastroenterologist and today is the last day before I can switch my health insurance in time for the appointment. I got a little busy with work and put it off a bit too long..

Long story short, I’m trying to decide between a bronze and a silver PPO. I’m a fairly healthy 31 year old but I’ve been having some gastrointestinal problems for the past year. I also need to visit an orthopedist and a dermatologist to get a couple other things checked out.

Quick comparison:

Monthly Cost (based in Los Angeles)

Bronze: $372

Silver: $478

Income: 60,000-75,000

Deductible

Bronze: $6300 deductible

Silver: $4000 deductible

Out of pocket max for both: $8200

Primary Care Visit

Bronze: first 3 visits at $65 Copay before deductible

Silver: $40 Copay

Specialist Visit

Bronze: $95 Copay after deductible

Silver: $80 Copay

Other Practitioner Office Visit

Bronze: $65 Copay after deductible

Silver: $40 Copay

ER Facility Fee

Bronze: 40% Coinsurance after deductible

Silver: $400 Copay

Emergency Transportation

Bronze: 40% Coinsurance after deductible

Silver: $250 Copay

Urgent Care

Bronze: $65 Copay after deductible

Silver: $40 Copay

Inpatient Hospital Services

Bronze: 40% Coinsurance after deductible

Silver: 20% Coinsurance after deductible

Inpatient Physician and Surgical Services

Bronze: 40% deductible after Coinsurance

Silver: 20% Coinsurance

Medical stuff that needs to be done this year:

-Endoscopy and colonoscopy to investigate stomach issues

-checkup and removal of small (pea sized) benign tumor on foot

-checkup at the dermatologist

-general wellness checkup/labs by a GP

I’m leaning more towards the silver option since I’ll have one more super minor medical procedure that needs to be done this year (tumor removal), but I’m not sure if I’m picking the right one? This is my first time figuring out health insurance so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
