already have private health insurance through my parents but i also qualify for medi-cal. i see two specialists a month and pick up 3-4 important medications.
i need to see these specialists for at least 6 more months before i could switch to a new one. these providers aren’t under the medi-cal formulary. does that mean medi-cal won’t pay my copays under these providers?
i previously worked in a pharmacy in a different state and medications weren’t covered if they were prescribed by non medicaid providers. does the same apply to medi-cal?
