Deceased dad was in the ICU for 12 days and dealing with exorbitant costs

As the title says, my dad was in the ICU (KY) for 12 days with COVID and my parents only had Medishare insurance. He was billed for the first day in the ICU at $91,000. The bill statements for the other days haven’t been sent yet, so not sure what those will be, but I’m sure they will still be high. I do not have the same “insurance” as they have so I don’t really know much about it. I put it in quotes because it is wildly different from a typical plan.

Does anyone with any knowledge of Medishare know if they will take care of any of the costs or from personal experience? All I know is that they pretty much paid out of pocket for any medical expenses unless a serious event happened. I consider this a serious event, so I just want to know what to expect, so if anyone has familiarity or past experience with this I’d appreciate some help.

Thanks.
