Currently pay way too much in health insurance that I get through my job. I am losing help from my older kid due to her moving to a different state. I want to get me and my kids out of my insurance completely as its not affordable but when I call I get lots of no’s.
I am willing to downgrade to the cheapest one if possible through my employer or the marketplace or just leave myself on it and remove my kids and even pay back any used benefits, but none of these alternatives were brought up by the insurance people on the phone.
I am at a lost for this year in terms of the thousands of dollars in debt or is there a way out?
Is there some sort of agent/advisor that is not super expensive that can walk me through this? any advice helps! Thanks!
