A Dr. has ordered genetic testing for my daughter. We did not get the paperwork, including lab slips, until Christmas Eve, via mail. However the paperwork says to get the tests done BEFORE 12/25/2021 as our deductible will change in the new year. We have currently hit our deductible. I cannot get in touch with the office of the ordering physician, it seems they are closed this week.
If we get blood work drawn this week at a lab is the date of the blood draw used as the DOS keeping us in the current deductible or is it a different date, such as when the company performing the analysis gets the sample, pushing us into next year and a new deductible?
