I have Medicaid, and recently got a notice saying I needed to call them to verify my unemployment compensation. I didn’t think much of it and called to verify. The questions were simple and short but now I have a weird thought because of a question asked. I was asked if I’m currently working and I said no (cause of covid) but I am actively looking for a job right now and so I further asked will I have to inform them as soon find a new job and they responded yes. The thing is, I can’t remember if I did that with my last job (also being my first job). I just assumed they knew I got a job because it was in the system and I filed taxes etc. I mean obviously they know cause of the whole unemployment thing but I never had to talk to them on the phone like this asking about if I’m currently working or not and didn’t realize how important the question was. Also, I’m a dependent if that matters. Should I call them and make sure they had my last job on file or am I just overthinking it?
