Do I qualify for GetCoveredNJ Health Insurance?

Hello, I’ve been scrambling to try to figure out health insurance for 2022. I’m currently on NJFamilycare (Medicaid) since 2020 due to Covid. My income is currently higher that Medicaid normally allows, but NJ Medicaid states that no one will lose insurance until the “public health emergency” has ended. As of now, that date is set to end on 1/16/2022 (and may or may not be extended again).

I recently tried to apply for GetCoveredNJ (New Jersey’s version of Healthcare.gov) insurance for 2022 because my income is now over the Medicaid threshold. However, the application states that I am ineligible for this insurance if I also qualify for Medicaid. I will be kicked off of Medicaid as soon as the public health emergency is declared over. I guess my question is: Am I stuck with Medicaid until this date? And if so, will I qualify for a special enrollment period when this occurs?

I now make too much for Medicaid, but since it says I cannot be disenrolled due to Covid, it kind of makes it confusing how to make sure I have health insurance for 2022.

Thank you for any insights.
