I own a lawn care company with no employees, at the moment I have health insurance through marketplace. Went to update my income for tax purposes at the end of the year not having to pay a bunch. Just want to know, do I have to have health insurance? Like is there a penalty if I don’t other than a large doctor bill? First year in business I didn’t make much >$20,000 so I got tax credits and was only paying $25 a month but a few years in with updated income <$45,000 I’m looking at $400 a month.
