I visited a doctor after calling around to see prices, and found a doctor who I sent my insurance card to in advanced. After visiting the doctor and paying they called me 2 weeks later to tell me they thought I had a different insurance and said I have to pay double what I originally paid.
Am I obligated to pay this? Seems shady as they had 2 weeks to check my insurance and when I called to ask their prices they could have quoted me any number then asked me for more money at a later date saying they messed up the numbers.
