Hello everyone,
I recently moved and in need of choosing a doctor. Unfortunately, many in my areas have very low rating (like near 2 on github, google, doctor reviewing sites, etc.) suprisingly so i don’t expect a great service.
Anyway, I mainly looking to recover from my backpain (starting with diagnosis, xray) and eventually working with a PT or Chiropractor (also a dermatologist).
How does getting a referral from your PCP work? If i get one, can i take it to anywhere that accommodates my insurance? What’s the advantage of getting a referral from PCP to see a specialist? Is it just purely a reduced cost (due to insurance benefits)?
