I’m too disabled to drive right now from brain surgery but practicing helps improve my ability to drive. I sometimes drive my car in the parking lot of a high school down the road but never getting the car out of second gear isn’t really helping me and it’s too dangerous for me to drive on real roads. My OT has a crappy driving simulator but it’s not realistic at all and I can only go for two hours a week. I want to build a simulator that’s like an e-racing simulator so I can take it seriously but insurance won’t pay for the components because they’re from places like BestBuy and GameStop. I can’t work and paying for it myself isn’t an option so is there a way for insurance to cover it?
