Hi, all. Sorry if this is a dumb post, but I made a payment towards my health insurance on November 30th for the month of December and during my first attempt there was a system error on their end which caused no payment to go through and I was told to try again which I did and then I received my confirmation number and payment receipt. Issue is the following day I saw I was still double charged with my bank and after speaking to the merchant they said they were unable to do anything since they do not see the second payment. Bank had me dispute the transaction and nothing has happened yet. I just logged in to the health plan and saw that the second payment finally shows. Now I am stressing out because I cannot call the health plan till Monday to see if they can refund me the extra charge. Will they refund me now that they see the extra charge? I do not want it kept as a credit as I am not keeping the same insurance. It has been extremely frustrating having to deal with this.
