ELAP from company Elap Services

My employer is moving health insurance types and will be utilizing ELAP from the company Elap Services (https://www.elapservices.com/)

I have attempted to do some research on ELAP but I was unable to find a lot of information on the Insurance type from an Employee’s perspective. Most sites wrote about it from the Employer saving money view which worries me as to whether this insurance offering is going to be bad.

Additionally, I wasn’t really able to find any information on ELAP on reddit outside of one post (https://www.reddit.com/r/healthcare/comments/mnqru6/question_insurance_can_anybody_explain_how_a/) so I am reaching out here to see if anyone can explain how it would differ from something like Aetna where I have to currently pay a co pay + monthly. I can also only go to specific locations in network. ELAP does not have a network as far as I was able to understand but not sure how that works in the grand scheme of going to the doctors / hospital. Is it overall a worse plan?

Thank you in advance.
