Emergency Accident Coverage insurance before Health plan kicks in on 1/1?

I switched jobs a few months ago and my new employer health plan kicks on 1/1/22. I currently do not have health insurance. I am going skiing for a few days 12/28-1/2 and would hate to be uninsured, do I have any options?

I will be traveling by car (within USA) to a ski resort within my state (maybe crossing to the neighboring state).

I looked into short term health insurance but they all seem to be for about 90 days worth.

Is sport accident insurance an option? I filled out a preliminary online form and was able to get a quote, but seems sort of like a travel insurance with the focus being on cancelling/weather delays with a section on medical/rescue coverage.

My COBRA option for enrollment to continue coverage from my last job ended 12/13/21.

I am mostly looking for a short term insurance coverage option if I happen to get in an accident on the mountain (broken bone, head injury, emergency room visit etc.). Any suggestions?
