Employer health insurance is a joke, what are best options?

Heya, I’m employed in Colorado and the company issues health insurance through Sana Benefits. I was told upon open enrollment that coverage is through BCBS, when it clearly is not. Pissed off is an understatement.

I’ve been sick all week and went into my member portal to find a doctor for a strep test to get cleared to go back to work. I ended up making probably 20 phone calls only to basically be told no one has heard of or accepts this insurance, and decided to just go to urgent care and self-pay. I pay $207 a month pre tax for my benefits and am now finding they’re useless here.

I plan on cancelling my employer benefits and enrolling with a more reputable provider. I was with UHC until I was 27 and was generally satisfied, but now I’m wondering if there’s a comparable network like their choice plus, while still being affordable(around 200-300 monthly). I have multiple chronic conditions and get sick often, so being uninsured is literally not an option for me.

What has been the best in your experience? Thanks in advance everyone!

Edit: I’m 28, in Adams County, CO
