I was put down as a dependent on my father’s insurance. I’ve had this back and forth issue with Unitedhealth claiming I’m on his insurance and his work claiming I’m not. At one point we even made a group call in between united health and his employer to fix this situation. My termination date was set for December 31rst. I called on the 1rst of January and I was told I was terminated however I was still getting denied. So I called unitedhealth again. Not only do they claim I’m still enrolled but that they have no recollection on these events.
I’m currently on Medicaid and I’m not alowed to pay out of pocket while on Medicaid. I also legally can’t use one insurance while registered on two.
I need my medication. Could I get in legal trouble for using Unitedhealth even though his employer says I’m terminated and United health says I’m not?
The only other way to get my medication would be to leave Medicaid
