Employer sponsored Health Plan PPO vs High Deductible Plan.

I’d love to get an opinion for selecting next year’s healthcare plan and what’d be better for us potentially?

My husband and I at the same company with separate plans but we are having a baby and it’ll make sense for us to combine. We select our new plan mid-late April with our plan effective June 1st. Baby will be here late May (while we’re separate) or June as we’re a fence sitter.

Our company is big enough where we can offer two plans. Before it was just a PPO and now we can offer a high deductible plan. Knowing the circumstance about baby above, maybe it’ll make a difference.

Background: Company pays premium for health benefits and will continue to do so. Company will contribute the max for family to the HSA.
For PPO, deductible is $300/$600 for fam and OOP will be $3000/$6000
For HSA, deductible is $2800/$5600 and OOP will be $5500/$11000
Cost estimate for a baby delivery is about $1400 and then on the HSA is $3400.

Any advice would be awesome! Let me know if I missed important information.
