I am thinking of getting some vision/eye insurance. I do know its rare to find a insurance to cover LASIKs, however nearly every plan I looked at..has some form of a discount that can be applied at participating Eyecare locations. Some are around 15% and some are as high as 35-50% discounts. So, that can be a ‘Plus’. Plus; the vision Insurnace can cover visits at the eye doctor, exams, and glasses/frames-with a smaller co-pay for me (myself to pay).
So, my question is; I know its not extremely common to go purchase vision insurance like it is to have things like regular medical insurance or dental insurance…BUT is it worth having?
I am considering maybe LASIKs…
