I am in NC on the BCBS Blue Options plan my employer provides, and my wife is included in the plan as a dependent. When I go on the website and the app, it shows that we have paid towards our individual deductibles (each $4,000), but doesn’t show anything counting towards the family deductible (also $4000).
From what I understand, and he family deductible combines every member’s individual expenses, but it says $0 applied toward family deductible. Am I just understanding this wrong, or is BCBS wrong?
