UnitedHealthcare’s “updated” online provider directory contains misinformation with more listing errors than correct listings, about 60% of their provider listings have minor or major errors. Common errors to all insurance company provider directory listings is not able to update which provider in and out of network, but with UnitedHealthcare the errors also involve provider phone numbers that go to “out of service” recordings when calling them, addresses that were correct years ago but are now occupied by non medical businesses, incorrectly describing primary care physician offices as hospitals and many other errors. Has anyone had similar provider directory issues with Fidelis or HealthFirst?
