Getting ready to get myself and my mom a marketplace family plan befire the enrollment window closes. However I’m concerned about whether adding her as a dependent to my plan will make me responsible for her previously incurred medical bills. We live in a state without filial responsibility laws, but i just want to make sure that adding her to my insurance now doesn’t constitute any kind of retroactive assumption of responsibility.
Anybody know anything about this?
