Wife and I worked hard to reach our deductible before having a baby, and I just unexpectedly lost my job. Fortunately I had another offer coming in around the same time. They want to hire me on with benefits starting FoM following hire, but I don’t want to be subject to their 6000 (Family PPO) or 8000 (Family HDHP) deductible.
What are my options for covering the birth, but not having to worry about emptying my HSA?
