I’m currently on my wife’s health insurance. At some point next year I’ll need to have my own insurance but it’s up in the air as to when that will be. I have some pretty serious medical issues and am on several significant medications. I don’t know where to start. I tried looking at the same company, United, because they cover what I’m currently on but I immediately realized that we’re covered through her job so I don’t know if it’s the same. I also work as a contracted employee for two separate companies so I have no clue how that figures into the whole equation. I’m kind of freaking out without any some direction. Can anyone give me some basic guidance to help keep me from getting overwhelmed?
