Changed jobs 4 months ago and forgot to cancel Kaiser though Covered CA. Noticed an email from them 4 months later asking for payment. Paper bill probably got tossed in junk mail, don’t know where it is. Is there any negative consequences for refusing to pay? Will they come after me and ding my credit report? I had been paying for health insurance with my new employer so there shouldn’t be a lapse in coverage. Is there any way to get out of paying for the last 4 months?
