I’m a senior in college on the court-mandated health insurance plan of my estranged dad (my mom has bare bones, marketplace individual insurance).
I start a new job in August that has company-sponsored insurance, but graduate in May, at which point, my health insurance through my dad ends.
I was looking at figuring out how to get health insurance for those two months, both to be compliant with MA’s health insurance law and also because I have medicine copays etc., but have had a lot of trouble. You can’t buy short-term health insurance in MA, the enrollment period has ended for the marketplace, and all of the individual providers (Cigna etc.) say they don’t offer insurance in Boston. Any help on how to get health insurance would be incredible!
TLDR: I have a two month gap between my insurance plans in MA, and have no idea how to get it
