Getting Health Insurance for my Parent

My mom doesn’t qualify for medicaid, medicare, or any other government-funded health insurance policy. She is below the poverty line so cannot afford private. I’m currently a college student so I don’t have the funds to send her to pay for her own insurance, but she is older and I really want her to get on insurance especially considering current events. If I join the US military/other government agency such as the FBI or State Department (post-grad), would my healthcare coverage extend to her? Or is there something else I can do? Eventually I will just send her money for insurance but I’m worried it’ll be too late by then. Thank you in advance and I apologize for any misinformation on my part, pretty new to all this.
