Couple neighbors recommended me to go see a neurologist, but is it true that for insurance to cover it, I need to go to a GP or my PCP first ? Then they would recommend a specialist doctor then insurance would cover it? Insurance won’t cover it if I just go to a neurologist first?
Some more newbie questions, I have never used my health insurance before, do they provide a PCP or do I just pick a place and keep going back instead of changing doctors so the Dr will be my PCP, and knows my history etc. so it’s better that way.
How do I find out what yearly free exams or freebies my insurance offers? Just go to my provider’s site? when I went before it was always confusing and vast site….I have Sierra health and life
Do I need to ask the clinic/hospital if they take my health insurance before going there ? They don’t take any health insurance providers right?
