Golden Goose Deluxe Brand is something I’ve always admired. They were launched back in 2000 after merging the creative spirit of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. As time went on, they have grown into a worldwide designer brand with retail locations worldwide, and it’s one that many fashion lovers are drawn to.
I’ve kept an eye on Golden Goose for some time and I would often look through what FarFetch had, as they always had an amazing selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always thought they were quite expensive and looked too similar to Converse, so they were always saved for later. Some time back, Adam was the one who was the early fan and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what pushed me to explore them deeper. Having seen his in person and noticing that no two pairs are alike because they’re crafted by hand in Italy, I was even more curious. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are pre-distressed and made to seem broken-in, they are all hand done so they’re truly one-of-a-kind. Some have much more abrasions and dirt than others, so there’s a whole spectrum.
