My friends and I all got assaulted a couple months ago, the people who did it were charged. We all had to go to the er to get checked out. When the front desk person asked for our insurance cards I asked if they were in my insurance (united healthcare) network. They assured me they were. Tonight I received my bill and everything it’s coded out of network same for my friends. If I knew they weren’t going to cover my visit I wouldn’t of gone. I was just worried about internal bleeding to my head. Any advice? I haven’t talked to the hospital or insurance yet as I will tmrw but would like to be prepared. Total bills are around 5k for my myself.
