Hi,
I receive insurance through my employer, it is through United Healthcare. I don’t really get sick, I used to have another insurance in another state and never used it, so I never really researched about insurance much. However, I am gonna need a jaw surgery and trying to see my options.
So,
Calendar year deductible Individual: $3000 Family: $6000
Max benefits Unlimited
Annual out-of-pocket Individual: $6000 Family: $12000
Most of the copayments are 40% after deductible. Not sure what is the best approach for this surgery… I had Kaiser insurance before but their plan was $5000 deductible and a very limited amount of in-network doctors.
Anyone had experiences with this particular insurance? The plan is called ‘Harmony HMO’.
