We were automatically switched to Medi Cal in September 2021 from our Blue Shield Health Plan from covered California. We don’t qualify for Medi Cal and even after sending in our documents they didn’t remove us. Medi Cal office says the state does not allow them to remove anyone from Medi Cal right now because we are still under a “state of emergency”. It doesn’t matter if I don’t qualify. He also told me if I voluntarily leave that I won’t qualify for enrolling in new insurance right now. I just want my old insurance back so my family can go back to our previous providers. Any suggestions?
