Has anyone here worked for ConvenientMD and/or their billing department?

I recently went to ConvenientMD urgent care for two unrelated, very minor problems (ear and arm related) on the 7th. At the time of the visit, I had said I was a former chewing tabacco user while being on a non-tabacco health insurance plan through my employer.

Today on the 19th, I randomly reminded myself that I signed a non-tabacco use form through my employer in Janruary of 2021 verifying I do not use tabacco. I had recently quit using it earlier in 2020 prior to the job.

I had called the nurse today to check the status of that trip, and they said under tobacco use it said “denial” and that my balance was $0 for the trip as of now. She didn’t really confirm that “denial” meant non-user, and wasn’t sure if a zero balance meaned paid.

Essentially my questions are: does “Denial” mean non-tobacco user? And if the balance is zero, does that mean my insurance paid for it with no issue?

Thanks in advance, I’d rather not lose my shirt and job over something trivial and I’d call the insurance to check the status but they’re closed for the weekend and I’m the type of person to panic lol
