Having medicare and cobra

I just started receiving medicare in February of this year, and I turned 26 in April so I no longer qualified for my stepdad’s health insurance, but I’m being put on cobra as a dependent.

From what I read, medicare will be the primary payer, and cobra will be the secondary. Does this mean when I’m looking into doctors/treatment centers, I can only look into one’s that accept medicare too?

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question. I’ve tried navigating it myself and everything I’ve found online has been pretty confusing.
