I need advice for health insurance. I recently moved from WA state to NC. I was receiving free health insurance because I was under 18. It was extended till this October because of COVID.
I need something very cheap. I don’t care about coverage or deductible. I live at home with my mom and brother. My brother makes like $4000 every month, my mom makes like $2000, and I make $1200.
Despite the high income of my family members, they don’t support me at all. I pay $500 per month for rent/utilities/car. I also pay for my own college and food. So, I think it’s ridiculous to base the household income for my health insurance.
I can get insurance through my moms work, but it would be $200 extra per month. I can’t get health insurance through my college because it’s an online program from a college in a different state and they don’t offer health insurance for online students. My job doesn’t offer health insurance for part time employees.
