Hi I’m living in New Jersey and I’m looking for a moderate health insurance plan for my wife and child. The reason why I’m looking for it is because I’m frustrated how the health insurance price skyrocketed when I changed to family plan that’s offered by my employer. The monthly payment solely for insurance is near $1500 after the change and I find this ridiculous but I am stuck with it as I do not understand how the health insurance market works in the United States. I tried to see if there is any place where I could purchase separately, but it was a waste of time and got too many spam calls for signing up from those websites. Can someone who has any experience of similar situation please advise what would be the good options for me? Seeing that much money coming off from my paycheck just makes my stomach hurt…
