I’m trying to set up doctors appointments and get prescriptions but they need proof of my insurance which I don’t have despite the fact I allegedly am under coverage right now. I don’t know who to call or what to get any info. I had assumed I’d get some kind of email from my insurance confirming I had coverage and at least some kind of ID I could give to the doctors or pharmacists so I could actually use my insurance but I haven’t heard a thing and I need prescriptions.
My insurance is a blue shield of California insurance. Any advice on what I should do to get my health insurance information?
