So my mother in law needs a major neck surgery. She lives in Ohio. My wife and I live in Florida. My wife works with 2 board certified neurosurgeons and they’re the only ones my wife will trust. She is an only child and my MIL is a widow. She needs this surgery ASAP as she could have permanent damage to her spinal cord if it’s not done soon.
My MILs insurance will not cover out of state surgery. She has until 12/15 to find a plan that will cover out of state to be able to have the surgery next month. Her broker is of no use at this point.
Can someone point us in the right direction?
