I had my baby on February 21. I called the insurance company and benefits center about 20 days after and told them that I had her but i didn’t have the documents yet. The lady said she would add her and I could send in the documents after. I think she said 45 days after I spoke to her but to be honest my brain was so foggy I don’t remember exactly (careless, I know). They sent us a denial letter. I just called and told them my situation and they said I can appeal it. Has anyone had any luck with that? I’m so upset. I’ve never felt worse about myself. I don’t even want to take her out of the house now afraid that something will happen to her and she won’t have insurance. Opinions and good vibes appreciated. And please, no harsh comments. I promise I’m being hard enough on myself as it is.
