I did’t grow up with health insurance all the time so I am just confused in general. Help me oh noble ones.
Stats: 28 year old female, 2 prescriptions, no serious health problems and if possible would like chiropractic care/therapy. Only if its in the cards otherwise I’ll just stay basic with it all. I have no need for a specialist. Just keeping prescriptions low, 1-2 office visits a year, and my ER visit after my other kidney gets stolen. It’s a work healthcare plan so I have these two or I could go on the marketplace I think.
HMO or PPO?
HMO:
Monthly Cost $318.17
Deductible $0
Office Visits $25
Out of Pocket Max $3,000
Prescriptions $25
PPO:
Monthly Cost $277.70
Deductible $1,500
Office Visits $25
Out of Pocket Max $7,000
Prescriptions $30
