So long story short, my husband carries the insurance for our family. His employer started offering an HSA. He thought he opted out but it’s still showing up under his benefits. Also, last year we did not have a deductible based plan. This year to our surprise everything changed and it’s now basically a life or death situation since I need to see a doctor weekly and have recently gone down to part time because of the issues I see the doctor for.
Is there any recourse to fix our insurance? We are desperate. A prescription that used to cost us $10 was $254 and to say we were shocked is an understatement.
I appreciate anyone that can help us.
